The difference between you and me, and I'm up 159% in a little over 90 days on a $15,000 investment, is I know it was lucky timing from a tip or two on this board. I'm not thinking I'm some investment guru projecting future returns to mimic the past 90 days. Just hoping I'm smart enough to hold the profits . . . and maybe build on it.

That's just the thing! I wasn't projecting like I was. I was just sharing my and my buds investment strategy and how well we have done. If someone took that as me being some market guru, then sorry? lol
Congrats on the win though. What was your play?
edit: Just to be clear, me and my bud maybe make two transactions per month. We really read up on why the company bombed in the first place.
I still have the ETH account in place hoping it blows up like BTC. I am not going to touch that. Hopefully by next year i'll have enough "play money" to throw more (20-25k) at a stock.
I actually come here for investment ideas and not ridicule. If i'm wrong im wrong, but damn some folks here don't need to be dicks about it.

Damn baws. Funeral up in here. Getting killed on my alt coins but I've been stacking up in ETH by trading between it and btc. Lowered my cost basis by nearly 50 bucks without any additional capital over the last week or so.

I'm making more money in other coins than I did in eth. Why are you stocking up on ETH right now? I'd be diversifying into the other top 4-5

So true. I've been looking at GDAX and Poloniax for the access to other coins but those exchanges look like Chinese Algebra to me.
I know Coinbase has its flaws but it's extremely user-friendly

I'm in 5 other alt-coins and all have taken a heavy beating this past week or two. Don't want to put anymore capital in right now and my holdings have gone down too much for me to sell and lock in that loss. It just takes one good piece of news or one positive rumor for any of those altcoins to temporarily skyrocket, and with my luck, once I decide to cut my losses and go into something else, that news/rumor will drop and I'll miss it.

Yep. Treading water the last week.
LTC providing the only lift in the 6 coins I've been bottom fishing with.
Lots of daily charts appear to be putting in sideways lows. We'll see.

ETC, LTC, XMR, Dash, with slightly smaller amounts of ANS and Strat. I'm trading in other stuff but those are where my money's at. Strat is probably my shortest term hold but not sure how long I'll hold dash either. It's been great lately. I only have .5 ETH total right now.

Yeah I've taken a beating the last 2 weeks. Pretty rough. This is the first week in a while I'm seeing big profits again. Learning to be more patient

Yeah I am pretty much out of ETH as well at the moment, picked up some XMR, DASH, XRP, and LTC yesterday and planning to hold for the next month or so to see what happens.
