Sure STCG will take a chunk out, but if you never sell for a loss, taxes won't completely wipe out your gains.
I mean I hate having to pay gigantic taxes as much as the next guy, but taking home 70-75% of my gains is better than missing out on this freight train.
I guess i'm not just following.
In the example of selling @ 360 and buying back @ 330 if all things are kept constant i do not see how that makes you money.
ETA: i guess the key missing piece of information is what he originally bought at. I was multiplying 360*.70 in my head instead of just the gain portion. Sorry for the confusion. Carry on.

So all of the trading I do on bittrex is going to be taxed even at 1.00 gains or losses correct? How is that going to work?
I have my account trading history to draw from.

so if i make $1000 on a trade and then need to pay $200-250 of that in taxes, which leaves me with $750-800 dollars.
just on one single trade - how is that not making money according to you?
strong everything.

Right.
It's been said before but I'm not gonna not go to work (to make money), just because I will sacrifice some of those earnings to taxes. C'mon now.

i put an ETA to my post a full 3 minutes before your post. Yet you still posted. Weird.

He went out of his way to answer your stupid question, and then you come back like a sassy teenage girl about it after he does because he didn't see your eta that he didn't waste his time to go look for three minutes before he posted.……........go away

So you think he quoted part of my post. Then waited 6 minutes to finish posting.
And in the meantime i edited my post.
Not that it's that big of a deal but that's really naive to think. It was just pretty obvious he had to be right even after i had already figured it out.

Between the times of 12:50 and 12:53 he could have loaded the page.
Then MAYBE something or someone distracted him from reading/responding.
He gets back to posting while probably at work because you know, we can't all tell our coworkers to frick off while we post on message boards.
You read his post and your jimmies are full on rustled.
Now please tell me who is more naive?
One very plausible scenario or another where a poster is just plain out to show you up in a thread that has been very helpful to even the most ignorant of investors.
Again...give it up and move along.
