I’m telling you guys, I think LINK is going 100+ this cycle. Just be patient but don’t hesitate when the time comes.

I learned how to volatility trade Bitcoin's price action to alleviate being upset with Bitcoin dips and pullbacks, and also to profit off of them significantly. It makes days like this not bad at all.

My crypto portfolio is devastated today. It's fallen back to, hold on, let me check my records...where I was two days ago.

I've not been doing this since my last short. That took me almost 60 days to unwind. I got out with a very small profit, and once again if I had been more patient I'd have made much more.
The other reason is at some point BTC will just keep going up. I post this, but volatility always returns, so what do I know?
You're a pretty good example of my rule (which I haven't been following lately). Consistency almost always outperforms occasional brilliance.

Market shite itself but structure still looks good so far. >4T total market cap held and a lot of alt coins are getting close to where they were before the dump.
Flushing out aggressive longs like that is not a bad thing. Let’s see where the week closes.

quote:Exactly, and for volatility traders, the herd works for them by predictably jumping off the cliff when "the sky is falling". Plenty of traders emotions get to them and they overract in fear or greed in mass. This drives the majority of investors crazy, most of which just hold on and ride the rollercoaster. I've learned to just pay attention to Bitcoin's price and ignore the terrible or fantastic macro news that most everyone else reacts to, but for my trading decisions is just noise to me.

We believe the vast majority is gonna be Ethereum. That is a bull case for ETH..."

"And for all of those who feel like they missed the early days of crypto, you are at still a very early entry point in the adoption of Ethereum and that is the long term ETH opportunity, not the ETH trade."

The reserve has to be influencing this as well.
It feels like $15 is the new floor for link.
The reserve has 100k link at an average cost of around $19. They’ll just buy up whenever it goes below that.

It’s clear the macro environment is going to be a problem for the months of August and into September.
That’s just the way it is, I reckon.
My timeline has always been late Q4, so pish posh for now.

Lots of derisking going on. Seems like the market is hedging a hawkish Powell.
I don’t know. The market seems to be overreacting a bit to the PPI thing, IMO.
It’s bad but it’s not face-melting bad.
