Seems like Bitcoin and crypto as a whole is sucking wind and the reliable 4 year cycle is no more. Was fun while it lasted, eh boys?

Nah. That isn’t a discussion until December if no movement.

Bitcoin is not behaving like I would expect it to while Gold is.

Not questioning my positions really, but it is unexpected. We may still be 10 years away from it being a risk off asset.

Possibly the first meaningful ceasefire of the Ukraine/russia war. Could be the beginning of the end.

Might see significant tariff “deals” soon as well. Would probably give the fed comfort with cutting rates and QE.

I’m more bullish than I am bearish right now.

That cycle you mention would have us at or near all time highs around December. Report back in 8 months.

Looks like we might challenge the 200 day sma at 88k.

Sustaining a 4h candle above 88k would make me happy

So at or near all time highs 18 months after the halving is a win? Everyone here was preaching $150k minimum

Yes? Or idk about "win" so much as "that's what's always happened". Looking at the price over the last decade there is a clear pattern of 1) halving event every 4 years, 2) about 18 months after the halving we're at a new ATH 3) about a year after THAT, it has massively dropped off again.

Just for reference I bookmarked this from another poster earlier ITT:

BTC Price on December 1st

2022: $17,103
2021: $57,230
2020: $18,803
2019: $7,424
2018: $4,215
2017: $10,976
2016: $757
2015: $362
2014: $379
2013: $956
2012: $13
2011: $3
2010: $0.21
2009: $0
2008: $0

you can tell that was an old post because it doesn't even have the last 2 years of December lol. Anyways the point is the same though...there's been a pretty clear and consistent pattern. It stands to reason that if chalk holds that we'll have a nice rise by the end of this year.

"everyone" is extreme hyperbole. I'm sure a couple people were, just like there are some people on bitcoin forums that make predictions of $500K within the next coupld years.

Major inflows for the ETFs today in a market that was down over 2%. First big inflow day in a long time (most since Jan 30th) and it’s the only time I’ve seen a major divergence between overall market performance and ETF flows. It’s on.

Sustained above 88k with some liquidations to hit us to 90k.

95k is next if this holds.

Acting a little more like a risk off asset. I like this price action. Need to see a few more weeks of this before I am a believer.

Another round of liquidations gets us to 92.5k, and fear/greed still below 40.

I’m feeling a little frisky, boys

I’m sure I’m oversimplifying it but how does anyone end up in a situation where they’re shorting bitcoin on margin in this market. Maybe it’s a part of a bigger play idk. Just seems like pure insanity.
