frick I wish I could buy MSTR leaps at Friday’s prices right now. That stock is going to go ballistic again as it trades more in line with alt coins than bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the king. It doesn’t compete against altcoins. Positive news in the crypto ecosphere is inherently bullish for bitcoin.

Like beaver said, any positive news for crypto is positive news for btc.
Additionally, I think Trump said the reserve would “include” those coins. Not be comprised only of those coins.

A lot of people tapped out last week and are going to be in pain tomorrow. Hell I had a small amount of calls that I traded in for coins that I’m going to regret.

Agree. So many people don't understand Bitcoin and they panic sell on big pullbacks and lock in what could have just been unrealized losses. The same people FOMO buy when Bitcoin has a big run. They either never learn and/or newbies arrive to replace those who do learn.
I learned years ago to basically ignore Bitcoin and crypto news. It will very often fake you out of your shoes. Bitcoin is going up and down in all different size price swings and it will trend up, down and sideways for different lengths of time. You can't predict the price action. There are too many variables. If you believe in Bitcoin, you know it is going up significantly over time. That's what I learned and that's the core basis of my volatility trading strategy.

Dang, all the crypto is going thru the roof today. I thought about buying solana this weekend at $144 and didn’t. Up to 173 currently. Ada up almost double. XRP up 32%, bitcoin up 10%

Everything is muddy right now. Hard to get a meaningful read on the market.
Sustained action >94k on btc may signal a retest of 100k but honestly nothing is clear. Next couple of days will better ascertain points of support and resistance.
Hopefully this doesn’t end up a bull trap.
