There are ridiculously priced IBIT June calls. Probably jumping in tomorrow.

I think btc completed a double top. If this is the case, we’re going to 80 and maybe lower.

90k is new resistance. Weekly close above 90k invalidates the double top.

Same for ETH. If it closes the week below 2500 I think it goes to 2000.

I think what we are seeing is a perfectly normal 20% to 30% pullback that happen probably a half dozen times in each bull run. This has happened so many times in the past, it's historically a normal function of Bitcoin volatility. Yet, panic and the sky is falling are the majority of responses every time a pullback of this magnitude happens. This is an opportunity in my opinion for those who are prepared to take advantage and have ice in their veins.

I expect Bitcoin will start recovering within a few days or less. Bitcoin has a way of periodically ridding itself of weak hands with these type of pullbacks and also with slow downward trends.

The majority of Bitcoin's gains every year have historically been in a comparatively small amount of just days (less than 30 days in the year) in comparison that outweigh these pullbacks and slow downward price action.

Agree 100%. There is too much to be bullish about at the moment.

I agree. This is just more evidence to me that “this time” is probably not different.

Been hoping to throw my iron in the fire for a while. It's going on a decade since I've owned BTC.

Debating if I should rebuy Doge now at 20 or wait and see if it drops to 15.

Might as well wait, even the dips are having dips lately

Yea at this rate it looks like it'll be there in a day or two. Seems like .10 is about the bottom that it could reach. But I'd still be happy buying more at .15.

Admittedly I'm not a big TA guy so I may be biased on this, but it's hard for me to get my head wrapped around the notion that the market for BTC hasn't changed dramatically in the last 12-18 months. I've not seen statistics on this, but I bet the age, wealth and experience as an investor of the average BTC holder has changed quite a bit over the last few years.

It’s has, but there hasn’t been much evidence that any of that has influenced BTC to deviate from anticipated trends, and I’m not talking about TA. I’m talking about the general trends associated with the 4 year cycle.

I'm not familiar with the 4-year cycle so probably shouldn't comment about it.

I'm curious about volume and if it has changed over time. Is there a good BTC trading stats site you use?

Livecoinwatch is pretty good for volume.

LINK /

I use it and a few other sources like good ol fashioned coinmarketcap. Just depends on what you’re looking for

What’s your guess:

Will Bitcoin touch 50k before it reaches its next ATH?

I don’t see btc falling below 70k on this end of the cycle without a 2008-style recession. Which, I guess, is possible.

I would probably panic-sell if it dropped below 65k.

Macro events are more important right now than crypto fundamentals, IMO. We pretty much need to pray QE is able to keep the ship afloat for another year or so to get us through the cycle top.

Bitcoin was trading in the mid 50k’s just 6 months ago. Funny how perspectives change.

Well, sorta. Traditionally, once BTC crosses its old ATH, it never goes back below it

It did once (went to 16k) last crypto winter but it was being heavily manipulated.

BTC dropping below its old ATH on an alleged “front” side of a bull market would make me re-assess my positions

Dropped to 81.2k briefly. I’m considering this range to be low enough to be part of a test of 80k. Interested to see the Monday open.

eta: well now it’s actually in the 80,xxx’s lol
