Don't look now but ETH just hit 380 on Poloniex. Its on a rocket right now

ETA: Okay that wasn't a rocket, just yet another polo graph glitch where it combines several 5min candles into one if you don't have the tab open for a while

ETA2: The flippining may happen sooner than we thought.

ETA3: Aaaaand splat. Right into the wall at 387 USDT.

I like the concept of IOTA and will buy in at some point this week. Just worried about the initial pump and dump from early adopters. Seems like you're already holding quit a few space.

Yeah, I'm not the best short term investor, so I'm bad with the timing stuff. I'll leave that to you guys

It seems like IOTA is just another big blockchain platform. What makes it special? Can't you theoretically do exactly the same thing via the ethereum blockchain? I know scalability is one of the biggest issues; if iota can figure it out and master it before ethereum then it might well be the truth.

Thinking about throwing $100 into the top 10 currencies, but I haven't ventured past long term holds with Coinbase. Someone walk me through the process of purchasing other crypto's.

The ethereum protocol requires transaction fees and will never be partition tolerant. They will also never be able to scale on-chain, so they're all in on payment channels.

Use btc and eth to purchase other cryptos on polo or another platform that has them. Pretty straight forward

Purchase btc or eth on coinbase/gdax then transfer over to polo and buy there

If there is no fees then how does iota have value? If you don't need iota to execute its functions what do you need iota for?

It's the same as btc or eth, you just don't pay miners to validate transactions since miners/validators are not decoupled entities in IOTA.

Hovering at $397+ on GDAX.

Probably should just cancel the $400 limit sell and pull the trigger.

Yeah man, just do it, no point in taking the chance on a couple of dollars
