I find this hilarious when a significant portion of Trump supporters are “bring back the gold standard” types that lament how much value the dollar has lost.

Yeah, he mentioned how that’s Chinas strategy for creating trade deficits.

He is basically just repeating what most of us here have been saying for years.
Everyone "gets it" at some point. Some people just take longer to get there than others. In 2019, Cuban was famous for saying "i would rather have bananas than Bitcoin" and now he is pumping my bags this week along with Michael Dell
How close are you to your "pivot" moment?

My miner and MSTR calls have been pumping their nuts off this week

Pretty impressive weekly close.
There were alot of sells on the depth chart that got chewed through for BTC from 65 to 67k.

I snagged 1k shares of FBTC in retirement account. First btc etf purchase, I own btc eth and others for a while. But felt like we are close to bottom today medium term. I am of the opinion that at the end of this year 1Q of 2025 we will all be amazed at the price of these assets. The largest brokerage in the world, Vanguard, won’t let you in these ETFs yet
Up 19% since this post. Think we are going way higher. S&P down 1% since this post.

As in, completely given up hope in America, the USD, and full cynical hoping/expecting a downfall shitshow? And confident the major wealth sees the same and is all in betting on this with Bitcoin as the lone winner?
Not quite there yet but Biden and Trump are pushing me closer!

There’s nothing but catalysts coming and the bollinger bands are narrow as frick.
Interest rate cuts, trump election, possible end to war in Ukraine, eth ETF (which will explode alt coins as well).
If you dont have any crypto exposure right now, you’re about to be on pause for at least another 5 years.

I stay away from miner stocks once we get closer to the bull run but not because they’re necessarily bad, miners can just be less predictable than the market itself (for me) and people may exit positions here at odd times. I just don’t have experience with them, so others may have better opinions.
Nothing wrong with IBIT.

Patiently waiting on a sell-the-news ETH dump today, which means the opposite is more likely to happen. I'd be happy with net >15% inflows compared to BTC in the ETH ETFs. Failure to me would be less than 10%.
Posted on 7/23/24 at 8:12 am to BottomlandBrew
Day 1 BTC was something like $4.5 billion in volume and $750 mil of inflows for comparison

I have no idea what to expect. I can't believe we have gone this far.
