I also love the irony of a government organization tasked with protecting investors can't even fricking secure their own twitter account. Clown show.

No it rocketed to 48 as soon as the tweet posted. Then plunged to 44ish

The SEC acct not having 2FA on their account is the exact amount of irony I would expect in 2024. The enforcement agency that went after Elon several years ago for misleading tweets

At first I laughed, but this shite is starting to make me mad. The SEC continually bashes crypto for lack of protection, yet the SEC can't even be bothered with simple 2FA? And a government phone was able to be sim swapped with that much ease?

I really want to know if the "hacker" pulled the post out of the SEC's drafts. The first post was the hacker posting "$BTC," then deleting that and posting the more official looking post.

The hack is so weird. They were "liking" posts for airdrops and shite.

But the announcement sounded very GG like.

BlackRock is fixing to eat the competition. .12 fee for the first $6B invested in their ETF. ,25 fee after that.

The fees war over the past week has been impressive. Big win for ETF consumers

With the ETF giving BTC some relevance in the traditional financial world, do you plan on advising clients to hold some exposure?

On one hand I find it hard to believe that an account with such influence isn't protected to the max

On the other hand, nothing surprises me anymore

Can they really dump it out of the gate?

That'd be retarded to me.
