I'm not super well read on the halving/4year cycles for bitcoin. I can clearly see based on your post that around thsi time in 2013, 2017, and 2021 it's achieved all time highs (or at least, very high highs even if not ATH) while being far lowr both 12 months prior and 12 months after.
I do have some bitcoin but would like to really maximize what I have so help me understand a rudimentary investment schedule at a basic level.
-We can somewhat reasonably assume that roughly around this time, we'll just say Decmeber 1 for convenience sake, in 2025 bitcoin will be very high.
-We can somewhat reasonably assume that around 12/1 in 2024 and 12/1 in 2026 bitcoin will be much lower.
Aside from those basic assumptions, when does the massive run up and the major downfall typically occur? Let's use the 2020-2022 cycle listed in your post as a reference. It was $18K in Dec 2020, $57K in Dec 2021, and $17K in Dec 2022. Am I to assume that the prime time to offload and sell for some gains would be sometime in the autumn area, post-summer and pre December of 2021? And the best time to buy back in would be roughly summer-ish in 2022?

can y'all tell me why coinbase has a profile picture of me that i never uploaded? i want to say like 10 years ago, there was a site that assign one to whatever future sites you sign up for. i recognize the profile image, but i do not remember uploading it to coinbase.

Crypto market is getting to where you can probably start jumping in soon if you were smart and jumped out a year or so ago.
Fear is at the maximum with the Binance stuff. Historically, when people question whether or not crypto will “survive” is around the bottom. There may be another leg down but there won’t be multiple legs down from here (think 10 vs 15k btc) IMO.
BNB may be a steal in a couple weeks…or it may be the equivalent of throwing your money in an incinerator. Just depends on if you trust CZ or not.
I still haven’t decided what alt I want to throw my money at but I’m leaning ADA. It’s been disappointing every cycle it’s existed but it’s still here, so, that’s something I guess.

Matic is my alt of choice for the next cycle. I've traded a couple pumps this past year and put all of that money back into it. Super bullish on it.
I have minimal ADA, but frankly, it's got nothing going on for me to get excited. All talk, no game. Sundaeswap had me hopeful ADA would finally get something going, but it flopped big time.

Something I’ve kinda noticed is you can look at just about any alt on a major exchange and it went 30x~ from its cycle low.
Look at icx for an example. Basically a has-been shitcoin but still went 30x
You’re basically shooting for an alt that will ride a wave but maybe break out and have an upside. ADA -might- finally have a year but even if it doesn’t, it will ride the 30x wave at least. JMO.

I've noticed the last couple of cycles I've bought and sold and traded and farmed trying to make as much as possible.. and spent countless hours researching and watching charts...
And in the end realized if I had just bought Ethereum and sold at the end of the bull market I could've made way more money and spent little to no time following charts and trying to keep up with what's the hot coins at the moment
Also realized that Doge ends up outperforming most of the other coins every cycle.
This cycle I'm just planning to DCA into Ethereum and a little into Doge each week and see how it goes
And in the end realized if I had just bought Ethereum and sold at the end of the bull market I could've made way more money and spent little to no time following charts and trying to keep up with what's the hot coins at the moment

A year or so ago a couple buddies of mine bought into the ADA hype and got me on board too. I spent more than I wish I had on ADA and now have a bunch of it just sitting. I looked back the other day at some of my records adn I think my most recent buy was when it wa sliek $1.50. It's worth less than a quarter now lol. I figure it's not worth selling it for scraps at thsi point so might as well hang on, I really hope it can rebound at some point

If you believe Sol has staying power, then right now is a good buy. Might drop a few more bucks, but it's already super low. I'm less sure it has staying power post-FTX, but we'll see. Ive been buying a little here and there.
