I’ve been buying on CB Pro for about two months (BTC,SOL, XLM, CRO, Jasmy.) This thread influenced me to get into this world. I’m definitely a novice and nowhere near preforming an arbitrage, just yet. I’m down nearly 40% and I keep buying dips. I think I’m getting to the point of just letting it ride.

I've been where you're at. Just keep averaging down.

I'm a buyer at BTC 10K or ETH $500. It'll get there by the peak of crypto winter.

Just keep on making weekly buys, average your cost down. You'll be happy you did in the next run up.

Just a heads up, the last couple of bear markets everything basically went down for 2 years straight... so I wouldn't dump alot into it right away

Make sure your crypto is somewhere that pays interest. That will also help with averaging down.

Appreciate all of the input.
Now, if I were to get some additional unsolicited advice. Of the assets that I mentioned, where would be the best place to hold them to earn interest? As of now, I’m just holding them in CB/CB Pro and using CoinTracker.

The end is nigh. I love crypto crashes more than moons for some reason.

I think my reasoning is financial patience is my only skill in life. The larger crash means more long term gains for me.

It really is amazing how the mind can play games with you. Like when Bitcoin was up over 60K you felt like you were missing and need to buy, now when it slumps you’re almost afraid to buy more.

The reality is nothing with Bitcoin’s long term thesis has changed. This is still a 5 to 10 year+ technology. Institutions and banks getting involved is not a coincidence, still room for massive amounts of adoption. This is where you put the phone away and just try and ignore it lol

The difference is being in an upward trend and downward trend.

And as someone who bought bitcoin at 19k at the end of 2017 and watched it go down almost everyday for 2 years until it hit bottom at like 2k in 2020, i'm in no hurry to buy any coins at the beginning of the bear market.

Last time when bitcoin finally bottomed out at 2k I had thrown in something like 20k-30k over a couple years and my coinbase balance said something like 3k-4k and i had no extra cash to throw in anymore.
