I pulled all of mine out and converted 80% of that stack to BTC and using the rest in DAO platforms.

kind of a noob question about transferring between exchanges. If I'm going to move from 1 to the other, is it ok to move it as USDT or should i swap it to XRP or XLM first? Are the gas fees on USDT typical Eth fees?

Depends on the chain honestly because of fees. Some you need some ETH for gas, others you dont so it comes down to either pulling a swap or buying a token on an exchange and then transferring it to the chains wallet you want to have fun on.
There are also bridges but again, just depends on what exactly you are trying to do.

Basically i'm trying to fund my KuCoin wallet with funds I have in an off exchange wallet. Just wasnt sure if I should swap to USDT then transfer or tranfer first then swap to USDT once there.
