I’m debating taking like 5k and spreading it over like 100 random shitcoins and then setting a calendar reminder to check back in a year.
If none hit, I’m out a few grand. If one hits, I’m retired.

So you bought it pretty low. I'm not sure your financial situation, but I'm not really willing to throw a bunch of $1000 darts on the wall of shitcoins (since you never know which one is going to bite)... more like $100-$200... but the price of gas is more than that.

I got lucky on Dinger. I saw a few Twitter people talking about it. It hasn't really exploded yet but it's already up over 50% since yesterday. It's also only a week old and it has first mover's advantage (it's named after Elon Musk's cat who he hasn't tweeted about yet, and cat coin memes aren't really a thing yet).

The next meme coin I've seen with a lot of hype is Saitama Inu. Worth a look into for dropping gambling money into. I threw $50 at it the other day and it's worth $80 now

Its really the opposite of what I usually do..I prefer safe long term plays and hope to get them early. HOGE I have no idea why I bought it and can't recommend it. I keep a portfolio of liquidity on uniswap its doing well though
But ill recommend another which has been mentioned in this thread as a long term hold its Radix XRD or the wrapped EXRD which I own

have a friend who invested 10 bux in shib and decided to withdraw after getting that to 60 bux..(tried to convince if ur only investing 10 you may as well go for the moon but whatever).. Anyway, she used Bitmart i think it's called and fees were 50 dollars leaving her with 10 dollars left..wonder if she did anything wrong here. i'm using coinbase.. i need to figure out the fee when i decide to sell

Mornin’ crypto thread. First time posting in this thread. Finally decided to dip my toes into the crypto pool. Opened a Webull account and have a pending deposit to start out with $2k. I’m going to be getting caught up with the last several pages and following now. If any of you are in the SLI thread, I’ve been there since the first page.
Since I’m a crypto rookie, I’ll go ahead and extend my thanks in advance for info/resources/knowledge from yall in this thread. 14 of me and buddies here in Denver are in a guys text group and all we talk about is sports and investing. We’re all fairly savvy investors in the market and about 1/3 of them have been very savvy in crypto for a while. They finally convinced me to get in on it, despite my hesitation. So between this thread and those guys, I feel like I have some good enough mentors/guidance to not completely frick myself in crypto. Cheers baws.
