they've been consistently incorrect on the subject of crypto adoption and the crypto community has largely nailed it in terms of the adoption curve, so it is kind of hard to take the laughter in any other way than bullish
it's alright, peoples faith in fiat is shaken globally right now and the Bitcoin standard has never looked so appealing.

Furthermore a lot of people see the creation of CBDCs as bearish toward crypto. Initially that may be the case and I don't know what that bearish timeline may be if at all. But with the creation of CBDCs I see massive crypto adoption that will come naturally just based on the fact that people will be forced to become more familiar with the crypto space and less, well, cryptic.

I took the CBDC as more of their bending the knee and now trying to capitalize on the technology.
If they did it right the CBDC could/should replace all of your other "stable coins" and once on exchanges, the Fed now has an even easier time tracking it all.
SO in a way, they give the people what they want, (leaving BTC alone) and they gain massive insight to what people do with their money, CBDC (public ledger)....

It is definitely an interesting concept that goes well beyond the scope of the average crypto project. I normally dismiss like +90% of crypto as a ponzi or unrealistic or rugpull or whatever, but the incentive structures in Olympus seem to have a lot of thought behind them. They are aiming to be something closer to an actual business than just a distributed ledger.
What Rocket calls a ponzi, I'd call a clever bootstrapping mechanism. Olympus clearly spells out that the APY will reduce at certain thresholds of outstanding Ohms. Anybody thinking the current 7000% APY will last forever is simply not paying attention. The dashboard shows how much runway they have to pay the current APY.
Check out their daily revenues here.
I don't claim to know where Ohm will end up, but do believe it is worth watching.

Well this kind of concerns me because most of Olympus' treasury is based on DAI and FRAX stable coins. I hope the guys over at Olympus realize this might be an issue.

I am just speculating they release their CBDC and then drop the hammer on all stables. I have no clue and the time table is years away.
Anyway, wish me luck, just throwing some funds in GYRO ha.
