New York was always restricted with those two. I don’t see how this changes anything

Yep, and I believe neither operate in NY. At least Nexo came out with a statement of such. Risk is if additional states pile onto the ruling

Haven't followed Hex. Why is it dropping so hard? People sacrificing for pulse?

I have quite a bit in Celsius. Makes me a little worried but seems like they have done everything right. Nexo has some bad press recently regarding fraud and insider trading.

I removed ~50% of my Celsius funds today and have whitelisted my bitcoin address to remove the other 50% at a moments notice if needed.

Naa, I'm just very risk adverse in most of my investing. Don't want to be caught with my pants down. It just opens up the door for a mass exodus/liquidity issue which I wouldn't want to be caught in. >50% chance nothing will come of this for all of us.

I whitelisted just in case…I didn’t have it set up for BTC.

This is what I'd suggest. Whitelist your addresses so if you did need to remove funds quickly, you wouldn't have to wait the 24 hour period.

If it’s your first big withdraw they make you send in your drivers license and a video . May still take more than 24 hrs

They didn't do that for me when I made my first a month or so ago. I signed up with ID though

I’ve got everything in Nexo, and it’s lock on a fix term for a month to get an extra 1% interest, so looks like I’m sticking with it as well

How the hell is that even legal?

Eta

I bridged over some ETH and USDC into Arbitrum to play around. Gas is still ~$7 for simple transactions . That's supposed to come down with some upgrades and as more people hop on board, but we will see.

I am betting on the hope that they'll airdrop tokens when they inevitably release a token to capture value for VCs... Bout the only reason I put forth the money to bridge.

There are some people with the mindset that just after launch could be a better buying op then even alot of the sac folks

Who knows. Theres so many variables and catalysts with that project. They could announce some huge native projects between now and launch and it moons it arse off out of the gate

I'm in disbelief too. But I think I'm going to link my wallet and stake one ohm and see what happens. I just hope it's not a scam but little bit of research I've done already,it appears to be legit. The APY does change every 8 hours.

I staked 5 OHM this weekend. And yep, it's been paying out rewards every 8 hours at an APY of about 8000%. Yes, 8000%. In other words it's an 80 bagger by next year. Not expecting that but if I get 25% of that I will call that a success.

If you do stake do it at night when the gas fees are low. The gas fees will eat you alive. OHM is an ERC20 token on the Ethereum network. LINK

The easiest way is through the MetaMask wallet as a Google Chrome extension. You'll have to first swap some ETH for OHM on Sushi Swap. Once you have OHM in your MetaMask wallet then you can connect to Olympus and stake your OHM. Once staked your OHM will switch to sOHM. Make sure you import the contract tokens into your MetaMask wallet before you go to Sushi Swap. It will make things easier.
