I mean Elon tweeted about bitcoin 30 minutes ago. I don't think the wedges have much to do with this right now

lol wow. Elon's tweet was at 8:07pm. The sharp little dip started at 8:09pm.

Nah. Elon knows TA as well as anyone else.
I told you guys literally hours ago we were coming up on a reckoning. Correlation doesn’t equal causation and Elon’s tweet is a correlation.
He’s timing it purposefully.

He’s the most tard “genius” in history

I’d also like to point out the bulls rejected the attempt at collapsing the wedge and the possibility of a green breakout is still alive for the time being.

Could go up. Could go down. Cool.

Yes. As in it’s not for sure going down yet, which means don’t make any decisions yet.
Not sure why you think this is a gotcha.

The more he tweets, the less people will care.

With the amc rollercoaster quiet for the evening he just thought he’d blow up the night creating swing alerts

39.5 to 37.5 is about your range for the next few hours. Sustained break outs in either direction will probably cause a chain reaction in the specific direction to their resistance points of 42k and 35k. I don’t know if there would be enough momentum to push past 42k at this point but there would probably be enough to push past 35k.
I’m going to bed and going to see what the market chose in the morning.

You think wedges matter when a market moving event occurs (I.e. Elon’s dumb tweet this evening)?

We really need a separate thread for you hourly and daily technical people.

Couldn't agree more, it's just become clutter at this point. 99% of it never comes to fruition

Suit yourselves, but it seems a lot more accurate to me than guessing
I’ll keep it to myself

I appreciate your insight, so don’t completely keep to yourself. I agree that while the “Elon tweet” may have been the trigger, the chart doesn’t lie. Charts have always been a sort of self fulfilling thing anyway. And usually better explained after the fact. Should there been some major announcement we’d say, the wedge broke to the upside and we’re off to the races.
The fact that Elon tweeting still “matters” is pretty sad for crypto. He literally only said Bitcoin

I like it.
To my untrained eye, it looks like (at least on coinbase) we have a lot of buy support at ~35k, which ultimately seems like a good thing... As long as I'm reading this right
