Yea I really don't see how the BTC run can end this soon. It would completely invalidate historical trends and most projection models. Certainly possible as trends are made to end and models are always right until they aren't. IMO, it would have to be a black swan event to end the run now.

Perhaps we are all looking at the influence of institutional money wrong.
I and many others have been assuming it will primarily influence the back end of the bullrun; what if it influenced the front-end?
What if without the institutional money we would be at 30-40k right now? What if people took profits and started an alt season early?
That's the only thing I can figure because this is straight up retardo-ville with alt coins and BTC should start bleeding but as you say, just about every model says we gotta hit 100k before its over.

Why sell it?
Go do some defi stuff Abd maintain the exposure - you can wrap it in a 30 day option on Whiteheart - if eth loses value it pays you USDC, if eth goes up you are just out the fees.

Needed the cash. Put some money in that I kinda had allocated already just to try out the game. Am now switching my monthly side investing money into crypto. Made some nice gains in just a month with not much investment.

And when I did taxes online I think the second question was did you sell or trade any crypto in 2020 so I would think it’s being watched close now
