If you buy btc on there though atleast its sitting there still gaining interest right?

Early here, but what’s everyone plans for later on? Anyone going to take some profits out and try to time the bottom? (Assuming there will be a “bottom”). Stick it in the stock market for a while? Just hold? I feel with the history of volatility it’s so tempting to try and time and gain a few X.

That ETH:BTC swap at 0.05 lookin pretty good right now
And looking back at moving XX ETH to bitcoin at a 0.018 ratio makes me even sicker

need your head examined if you're thinking about selling/buying on the brink on global adoptions of digital currency
would be like trying to time the market on amazon stock 10 years ago.

Uncle Sam does have one hand around the neck of crypto.
I'd like to diversify some of my IOTA into BTC and ETH but the tax bill would be outrageous so I just say frick it and leave it all alone.

Still think SPX is around 4300 by May, personally. But crypto market cap (currently 1.5T) will perform much better in that span imo.
Posted 2/17 when SPX was 3930, didn’t quite make 4300 topping out a bit over 4200 for a still hearty ~7% in 2.5 months on my equity bull call.
But, indeed, crypto outperformed. Total cap going from 1.5T to about 2.2T for a nice 45% 2.5 month gain.

Where do you go to pull up the total crypto market cap? thanks.
Posted on 4/30/21 at 2:16 pm to GeneralLee
I look at coinmarketcap LINK

lmao tradfi world is optimized for these type of gains. office dwellers who think 9% yield is too impressive of a return so it must be a scam

quote:The ETH to BTC ratio is currently 0.05 (or was 0.05 this morning). 1 ETH = 0.05 BTC. This is the highest its been in years which makes it a pretty good time to convert some ETH into BTC if accumulating the maximum amount of Sats is your ultimate goal.

You’re going to regret this one too. It’s going higher

Cuban betting Peter mallouk 1 mil on crypto vs s&p500 performance for next decade
easy money

1 million prob be worth about 100k in purchasing power in 10 years

True that
actually article was a little misleading. Twitter shows they are betting on stocks vs stocks and amazon/Netflix vs stocks. Cuban didn't want to bet on doja though
Bet should be pay me in what ever amount of btc that = 1 mil right now and I'll pay you 1 mil...

I think this is a great question and would like to see those more knowledgeable than me answer. I have been doing this, and turned $900 into $4500, since Feb. 8th. Just buying the dips and trying to time the rises.
I am stuck right now, because I mis-timed a rise. It almost hit my target price, then dumped.

Without casting a curse, or sounding too confident here, ETH:BTC has acted VERY predictable the last year or so. Now, if ETH does continue to pump against BTC, I still hold a good bit and will welcome it. But until the trend breaks, I will continue to flip back and forth at least some of my position.
Posted on 4/30/21 at 6:05 pm to Hangit
Yeah I'm torn. Really want to flip some eth into btc. But I put it into the category of getting too cute. Risk is like you said, getting the timing wrong and then being stuck. Think I'll just keep things where they are and buying the dips.
