Get what?

I am not saying Chainlink is bad, but it will never outpace ETH in the long run. Ever.

Chainlink is just an oracle. Its not new. Its not revolutionary. Chainlink is middle-ware.

Sure, it will make some money, but its middle-ware at the most basic level.

It’s more than a price feed. Off chain computations, dynamic NFTs, threshold signatures, proof of reserve... the list goes on and on

I've read a lot of different Crypto sub-reddits where people dislike certain crypto over others. I can't honestly tell where the money is fixing to go so I decided to spread out the alts over the ones that seem to have some kind of backing interest or community support.

I like both Eth and Link

I have a lot of link and like the technology potential for it. But my FUD kicks in and tells me the best technology/ products aren't necessarily the ones that will have the most valuable tokens. Just curious about your thoughts on that.

Chainlink's Fair Sequencing Services will be a big one to counter MEV problems.

Off chain computations

AM I off base in my belief that off chain computations will, over time, decrease as more is built "on-chain"...

Isn't this the point of blockchain? Build on the chain?

pretty sure I get it and... that's why I'm skeptical of the valuation.

maybe they'll have a billionaire market cap instead of a coinmarketcap website in the future, where it shows doge holders moving up the rankings

then can someone explain why ADA uses Wolfram alpha (not a crypto) for their oracle?

I'm not sure I know the answer to this, except to say that LINK is expensive compared to BAND and other oracles, but you get what you pay for most of the time. A lot of defi LPs that got exploited was due to not using LINK.

Also, ADA is hardly a standard.

yea but Oracles are also partly human and it's not like chainlink hasn't had errors as the xag/usd was wrong for over 6 hours last year and they had to pay out thousands in damages

with that said, not many switched to band after this so who knows

also I'm even more skeptical of ada so do not take my words for some type of endorsements there

I dk man but I converted some sports bet winnings to Doge just for fun several months ago and I’ve made over $3k off of it... I’m holding this shite, it seems completely illogical but if it actually takes off and becomes legit then wow I’m going to look smart
