He’s old and thinks that we are still living in the old financial paradigm

The truth is that he can’t accept is that Bitcoin has no top because fiat has no bottom.

NTY

Last night ETH hit $2,000, and I had a limit sell order fill. So now I've locked profit on my remaining ETH, and have locked profit by virtue of protective puts on my BTC.

Feels pretty good.

He is your typical Boomer that is stuck in 1985 when it comes to financials, housing, etc. I say this as my dad is one of these people and it drives me nuts.

great work and we are early here

there are still people who are buying bonds, just wait until we melt the bond market. that's when the fun will start

probably, but all that stuff is irrelevant if say Apple or some other random fortune 500 country discloses

at some point, we will have nation-states holding it in reserves.

there is a 10x multiplier just for taking of a substantial portion of the precious metal market

if BTC takes up treasury bonds, OH BOY

but that’s also when some idiots in DC might start perceiving a threat. I obviously don’t think they could or would do anything, but you can bet that’s when shite will get real

this is inevitable

and the USA is going to need to decide if they want to be in front of this thing or get left behind

The global fixed income market is massive. Around $200T iirc so we don’t need much migration to seriously move crypto. It’s coming too. Bitcoin along with yield opportunities in DeFi are coming for bonds

If this does start to happen in size you are spot on about government totally panicking as well

I wonder if Satoshi in his wildest dreams could have ever imagined his technology actually being responsible for a global transformation in financial policy and doctrine

He is going to be remembered as one of the most influential people to ever exist and nobody will ever know for sure who he was.
