Has anyone ever heard of spend.com? It has been around for a couple of years and is apparently a VISA credit card linked with a mobile wallet that allows you to transfer in certain kinds of Crypto and spend it like you would a credit card? They also have an app that allows you to buy Crypto with Fiat.

I assume you blurred out the purchase because it was at one of those "Spas"

it was a deposit for a home renovation. 4 years from now that reward is going to make the renovation free due to the rise of Sat value imo

That’s pretty good. I’m like 400 on their waitlist at moment

I think early access ends in a couple weeks, then they start on boarding everyone on the waitlist. Won’t be too much longer

I wish they hadn't watered down the daily spin wheel, especially for us premium tier cardholders.

But, in other news:

WHALE ALERT

?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? 1,201 #BTC (69,733,890 USD) transferred from #Coinbase to unknown wallet

Can't really blame them. They've had the same daily free wheel for well over two months. Sats have doubled in price since then. Wheel has to adjust with sat cost.

I listened to this one. It was good, but they lost me pretty quickly going off on tangents.

I still go back to the masterclass in economic calculation from the investors podcast network on YT. That one is an eye opener when it comes to the CPI.

I tried linking my account as a means for payment to buy crypto through Celsius and it never sent me the email for confirmation code. I sent a ticket to support and they never responded. I guess I’ll never buy or sell crypto on Celsius.

In most cases you’d be better off buying on coinbase pro and transferring to celsius rather than paying the celsius partner fees buying direct on their app

That’s what I’ve been doing, but I thought I saw where Celsius was zero fees. I may have read it wrong. Thanks

Yea I couldn’t link my bank account to Celsius. Had to buy USDC on Coinbase and send it to Celsius to fund it that way

Thoughts on Nexo vs Celsius vs Voyager?

Currently I have all of my Crypto stored on Coinbase and Coinbase Pro

I bought a cold storage wallet that should be delivered today or tomorrow, I don't have enough in Crypto to really need cold storage yet, but I will soon.

I use BlockFi and Celsius for yield. Celsius just offered a wait list for self-insurance of counterparty risk which I signed up for. Obviously don’t know the details yet but they’d likely get more of my coins if executed smoothly and cheaply.

Interested to hear thoughts on Voyager. Just now seeing the VYGVF due diligence thread and thinking about fomoing into it Monday

Was talking to a friend about bitcoin as replacing gold as store of value.

He said he is heavily in crypto but also starting to accumulate gold and silver as prices go down. Buy low? Still a good store of value and silver has other practical uses companies would want.

Stating that the people of Venezuela who got by were the ones with bitcoin and precious metals after their hyperinflation and crash.

What's the crypto people in here think?
