for Bitcoin:

nexo 5%
celcius 6%
iconfi 8%, if locked for 180 days

the risks are getting exit scammed, essentially, or they go insolvent. Preston was tweeting about this yesterday

if you're nervous type of person prob stay away. should have more clarity within 6 - 12 months, this is all pretty new

be careful giving your keys away!

Yea this alone is making me leery of participating with my BTC, but I'll gladly throw the cash I have sitting in an emergency account on there to get 12.5%

No, but the person can still use the referral and promo code. Just completed my first transfer and now have $70 in BTC pending from the referral and promo code.

Think you can get up to $130 with promo codes but it requires $2000

Here’s a list of the defi lending abd borrow rates: LINK - Defi Rate site

If you wanna go full degen you can get higher rates on curve, but they just had an exploit between them and another protocol before they rolled the code out.

There are other options too averaging like 40% but the higher apy the riskier it gets.

I think people are so used to being bent by banks “anything sounds to good to be true”.

I once saved up $15k for a motorcycle to pay in cash in my 20’s. I went to the bank to get the money out and when I had to explain to the bank what I was doing with MY MONEY, I knew the system is fricked.

12.5% for Tether??? So if I throw $1,000 onto an exchange, buy some Tether, send it to Celsius, they will pay be 12.5% a year to get keep that Tether on their website??? Again, seems way too good to be true here

Tether is a riskier than usual stablecoin because it's clear they've been printing them well beyond their collateral and it's not exactly a secret. They have the attention of a lot of agencies Right now.
