I'm actually close to what I was on Bitcoin to XLM! Now only a grand difference! At a point it was 7500! But XLM went on a run and caught up

Why is XRP taking off again? I had moved most of my money from there but did the calculations wrong and left $37 in there that was below the trading minimum. Since it’s now over $50, I moved it all to ETH so I’m just a few cents left.

But what happened? I thought it was dead until the SEC case was resolved?

Proving, yet again, that I don’t understand crypto. I’m not complaining as my original deposit of $350 is now at $1200, but I sure as frick don’t know what to expect. I just don’t want to be completely left in the cold if BTC hits $70k and I have learned that ETH is needed for all transactions so that should retrain some value so I’m mostly split betweeen those two with about 15 LINK down from 30 LINk at one point.

Still trying to learn, but if someone could explain to me if XRP has suddenly become viable again, I’d appreciate it.

Dude how many times are you gonna post about your original $350. We all agree this space makes no sense. If you want to be in it , find a project invest and hold. Eventually fundamentals and utilization will rise to the top. Everything else is a shitcoin gamble. XRP is still down massive in comprarison to it’s all time high. What’s happening now is the pumps of a bull market. Find a coin , ride the pump or do some research into something you feel safe with it and. It and hold. Or just hold Bitcoin and Eth

2 more times. That’s it. That’s what the chart says.

I’m just just trying to admit I’m not a wanna be big baller like TigerMike or Mr Perfect acting like they have $75k on every swing of the market.

Nothing has changed with Ripple/XRP. Imo, it's just a pump after Biden's confirmation and buyers are hoping Biden's SEC will drop the case or something.

Remember, the XRP followers tend to believe conspiracy theories and think Trump's SEC was out to get XRP. They think Jay Clayton resigning the day after the suit was filed is proof of that.

Ripple is in court on 1/19. If bad news comes out, expect it to dump. XRP is still too risky and is only good for a gamble on if they win the case.

If the SEC's allegations are correct, then Ripple is doomed. Institutions won't touch it and the OCC basically rendered XRP useless in the USA.

The SEC is going to continue its push against crypto, so its probably in our best interest to root for XRP in this case. That way there is less of a backlash the next time one of our projects get hit.

And one of your coins will be hit.

I disagree that we need to root for XRP to win. The SEC's case is against Ripple.

I'd say if your project has a private, for profit company backing it, then that project is a risk if the SEC wins to set a precedent.

Ripple's leadership is arrogant and can't be trusted if those allegations prove to be correct. XRP use cases could all be smoke and mirrors.

ETA: I mean, Ripple was trying to IPO soon and Garlinghouse admits they can't be profitable without selling their XRP escrow. Who wants to invest in that type of company?

Can anyone chime in with some advice for me? Should I sell my Litecoins and convert it to Chainlink or BTC? Maybe even ETH?

To me link has the most upside at this point, but between LTC and ETH, they are about the same I would think looking at the moving averages
