Exchanges will have to consider taking XRP off completely, won’t happen immediately but they have a problem on their hands with them.

US* exchanges, which is still a possible big blow to come for US investors in XRP. A few small ones have already halted or delisted XRP and that fear is contributing to more selloff to break key support levels.
ETA: I just saw a Hong Kong exchange also halted trading XRP. Not good.

I can't imagine large buying volume will come in for XRP until this suit is resolved. I'll be interested to buy if it reaches $0.17, but this coin could be range bound for a long time.

Big risk right now, but could be presenting a great buying opportunity. If BTC starts breaking downward, look out. Other cryptos have already had a selloff today on XRP's news.

Think any of this starts to clear up by the weekend? I was hoping to use the long weekend to buy into some crypto.

For XRP? I'm not an expert on it, but I'm looking for it to find support and stabilize before thinking about a buy; however, that is overshadowed by the halting/delisting risk by exchanges. Just my opinion.

I think the larger selloff we're seeing is caused by the talk of regulatory clarity in the coming weeks. This suit could be one of the first coming. Other crypto projects are at risk if the SEC has considered them profiting off unregulated trading.

I think other cryptos will fare better by the weekend so again, could be a good buying opportunity.

Possibly, or a fund is trying to cover for getting wrecked by xrp.

Wouldn't even consider getting into XRP

Yeah, risk of delisting is too much for me right now. If big US exchanges do that, game over for a long time or possibly forever

On point. BTC is even more attractive in the midst of this news

I converted my XRP to bitcoin at .48, and my GRT at .43.

All I have left is BTC, ETH, and Link, but not enough link to get worried over. I feel comfortable.

Lobbyists in the ear of the SEC. Going after all crypto projects before Diem is launched next month.

Yep...while highly unlikely, the XRP precedent can be used on most of the other alt coins if the case ends negatively for XRP. BTC won't be involved as it won't apply to them.

It’s a matter of when and not if at this point. A major Hong Kong exchange delisted it already and two major XRP market makers have pulled liquidity. No chance Coinbase keeps it while they are trying to IPO

Coinbase in a statement said XRP will stay! XRP will bounce back! I haven't stressed at all and in fact with the regulation statement today alot of coins are falling! I even bought more XRP and XLM today! Bargain Christmas prices

Link?

I did find this quote from a Coinbase spokesperson.

quote:

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for U.S.-based Coinbase, one of the world's largest exchanges that boasts almost 40 million users around the world and is gearing up for a mammoth IPO, said it is currently "considering [its] options" when asked how it will respond to the SEC lawsuit against Ripple.

"Any exchange that allows trading in XRP is potentially breaking the law, so exchanges are bound to delist it," Coppola said, adding the SEC has "a very well put together case," although couching that "the wheels of the law grind very slowly, so XRP isn't going to disappear yet."

That will be taken care of before you know it! Clayton only did that because Goldman Sachs is starting cross border payments! The whole thing is a show! Wait til they get hold of Tether! Why you think the market is the way it is today! XRP will be fine as well as XLM! And my portfolio still looking ok! Took a hit but it probably is alot better than 90% of the people on here or more than 90%

Well you know I took a nice lick! But I did remove my stuff from Exchange! I'm happy where I am and where I'll be when they get regulations settled! I feel very that I have a 7 figure portfolio end 2021 or early 2022
