re: Official CryptoTalk Thread
Sorry, I thought we had went over this earlier in this thread.

quote:

Unless you can read code yourself and have a very good understanding of computer science / networking / economics fundamentals you are taking someone else's word on what these projects actually do. This means that the devs and their marketing teams can make all kinds of claims about what each project can or will do and the majority of the crypto herd (I'd guess > 90%) are just buying into a marketing plan and a dream.

This applies to the "why" someone likes a particular project in crypto.

Of course this doesn't mean you can't make money chasing the pump of the week on any of these projects, just that the vast majority do not have the expertise to verify much of anything in crypto. Most of it is built on tribalism, marketing and dreams.

Be careful! LINK outstanding share count isn't 350M no more. Its marching to 1Bil shares. I'd wait and buy in single digits prices. Its a good project for sure but it aint $100/share in 2020.

Bought some small ALT bags during the dip. Stop losses tight.

I'm only a messenger! Regulations will take out 90% of Cryptocurrency! XRP and XLM are 2 survivor's! Algo Vechain also! But I'm referring to XRP at the moment! The switch turns on November 6th or 9th at 2:28am! I'm only a messenger

Get us the list of survivors asap. While you at it lets see the next 5 coins to Binance/Coinbase. TIA

In real news EU is currently passing regulations on private crypto, think AMAZON coin or XYZ corp. They said they cant control/regulate BTC cause you know its decentralized

What’s your farming strategy?

I’m in yalink and am looking at yETH once it reopens.

The other stuff is too exotic and risky for me but the returns can be absurd.
