I don’t think it will latter much. The China thing before hurt because of when it was done, with this momentum and so much coming next week, I think it’ll be just fine. Trump also meeting with Xi next week in person now, so anything positive out of that will explode tech market too.

Wow, someone didn’t like the push over $115. If we can clear that with volume, this sucker has $118 all over it

Had to trim a bit.
Sold 25 of 50 10/31 $125s at 2.9
Sold 13 of 63 11/14 $130s at 7.5
Selling 10 of 50 12/19 $140s (got them up for sale)
Selling 10 of 50 12/19 $150s (got them up for sale)
I'm taking this gift of day (roth up 40%) and converting to shares.
The drawdown wasn't pretty and a little bit of an options trim to get back into a safe play like a 3.5 beta stock is wise (ha. ha.).
Sold 25 of 50 10/31 $125s at 2.9

I'm not very experienced at rolling calls. I bought a 10/31 $140 call 2 weeks ago when the tariff news hit and the stock tanked from ATH to $134 in a matter of seconds, thinking it would bounce back... It pretty much died and was more or less worthless. I finally rolled it (at a major loss) into a 10/31 $120 call. Don't know if that was wise or not. Regardless, it wasn't worth much anyways. Hopefully we can finish strong and I can at least recoup a little bit of my money instead of the original call continuing to die its slow, painful death.

Better than not having done that
But typically when people talk about “rolling” their options on a loss, they move the date out and price the same or higher. For those that believe in the longer term strength of the stock
