Says the guy who still only shows up when NBIS has a red day to gloat. Which is even odder considering it’s up nearly 10x from when you exited.

Maybe just say you were wrong rather than rooting against it (and thus rooting against many posters on this board) just for some weird internet credibility.

Don't believe he was patronizing you. I think he was criticizing you. Time to cut your losses and move on. You were wrong about NBIS. It happens to all of us. Keep your dignity and stop trying to prove a point by coming into NBIS threads and being critical of the stock that has made money for a lot of people.

I wonder how many and how much. For every regular contributor to this thread, there's got to be 10 infrequent contributors - all invested in NBIS. And for every contributor of any sort, how many just read the thread and at some point decided to invest? Would be fun to know.

700 shares of NBIS, up 269%. I started investing when I first saw and posted on page 1 of the NBIS thread

<—— Raises hand

I’ve been following since around July of last year. My first buy was 2 shares around $60 and I had about $1500 total in my Robinhood account. I was essentially brand new to trading. I had over $1M in my 401k but had never really traded before.
Continued to throw spare cash totaling about $25k slowly over to the RH account and thought I was killing it. Was up to around $60k and life was grand. Then November hit and I got stuck with plummeting shares, a handful of worthless options and selling off everything as I was teetering on the edge of a margin call.

Battled stupid moves trying to claw my way back and started to think my trading days were done. In March I was down to around $15k left in my account. Regrouped and started actually paying attention and focusing on just a few stocks I believed in instead of investing in everything I heard a positive story about. Before the July adjustment I was up to $128k. As tech heavy as I am/was, July hurt but not nearly what November did. I lost more overall in July but the rebound has been much better. I’m pushing close to $90k in the account now. 80% of which are NBIS and OUST.

All that to say…I’m not a contributor by any means but I am a daily follower. I may have posted a time or two in the NBIS thread but I’m not certain. Once I feel confident enough in the game I’ll be happy to contribute but for now I stay on the sidelines.

I can’t thank you guys enough. Of course I’m grateful for making money but the knowledge I’ve gained watching and listening to you guys has been just as valuable. Obviously a huge hat tip to BB88 for all the shared knowledge over the past year. Jax, IT (hadn’t seen in a while), and many others I can’t name off the top of my head.

Way to claw back! I'm still trying to do the same. Problem is, I'm not as much of a risk taker as I was last year.

I was totally "in the zone" with NBIS calls, and then it ended quicker than it began. Thankfully, I've made a year on OUST, even with the July drawdown, but I'm not sitting here rolling in February calls just because the stock dropped 7% intraday.

All one needs is one nice trade per year. It may play out in days, weeks, or months.

Best of luck. Good to hear of your success!

Yeah, I am definitely more cautious than I have been in the past. I like to think of the past year as just a big learning experience that thankfully didn’t scare me off.

Thanks for all you’ve shared with us. It has been a huge help for us that are new(er) to trading.
