Hey. I used slide 7 on the topic 7 ppt to answer part a & b. Then for part c I referred to the adopter categories on slide #9 for topic 7. I picked the adopter categories I think would will most likely adopt their service.

But i just finished my application and plan on starting in July. Hopefully this thread will provide me with some insight and help.
Looks like I may be able to double up to start.

I just got accepted and plan to start in July. Any suggestions on a first course to get back into the swing of things? I was a psych undergrad but have been in the business/marketing world for 11 years.

No, very minimum and very simple.

Not MKT 701 with Khan. There's some really good info on this thread about which instructors to take, which classes can be doubled up etc.

Do you have any recommendations on how to weed through the 400+ pages of information? Is there anything separate listing professors and classes that are recommended?

Use a targeted google site search. I'd post directions, but it gives me an error every time I try. Do a google on "google search within site" and it will give directions. Then just use the class you want more info on as your keywords

Khan Mktg Peeps: I had been getting As and Bs on his tests but just bombed this most recent test. I admittedly didnt put as much effort into studying but I felt the questions and answers were particularly vague.
I came across several instances were 2-3 answers could be justified to the question.
How'd yall do on it?

I'm one of the annoying people who had been getting A's on the previous tests, but I ended up with a C on this one. Khan must know there's a problem since he sent out an email saying he's "aware of the class performance". I agree that the available answers were much more ambiguous than previous weeks. I've seen reviews of his classes on other sites where they mention that he'll curve particularly bad exams. I'm hoping this is one of them.

Saw that email. A curve would be warranted.
Sounds like the problem solving quiz will be tough.
I got a 68 and have gotten 88-92 on previous tests.

Hi guys, I will be starting the program in July. I am currently signed up for MADM 701 with Kangu and MADM 760 with McLauglin. Would you say that these two are a ok pair?

@cottonseed. same here, had been getting 88-94 on all tests, ended up with an 88 on this test, but I basically took the entire week off and studied my a$$ off. was definitely the most difficult, and vague with either multiple correct answers, or no correct answer. I have zero faith in him doing anything about it since he is already saying "some tests are harder than others". somebody out there who barely studied and guessed their way through it probably made a 25/25 and he will let it sit.

"some tests are harder than others" is fine if that material is more difficult... but its not.
A Kindergartner can grasp this shite.
With 2 more elective classes till I graduate, I may just cruise through and take a B. Should be getting A's on all the writing though.

Heard that, I’m in the same boat - close to the finish line and ready to take a B (or even a C if I have to) just to get finished. I don’t mind working my arse off but it should come with payoff like it does in other classes- in this class, knowing the information too well can actually be a hindrance because you tend to overthink and assume he’s being tricky

I wouldn't recommend combining two MADM or MKT classes at the same time due to the writing load... especially not for your first term unless you're coming straight out of your undergrad. If you've had some time off, you may be rusty. Unless you have a ton of free time, I'd switch one of your pairings to another class that isn't writing heavy.
edit: I should add that I know nothing about Kungu's classes, but I took two classes with McLaughlin and previously wrote an extensive review on each of them if you search the site.

I have Wyatt for MADM760 in the fall also.

Kungus MADM 701 class is very light.
If any class can be paired its this one. Youll be fine just be ready to devote the time.

@ Khan Peeps,
I also studied all week and felt like "I got it," but some questions were indeed absurd. I'm not sure if it's "his English way" and unnecessary wordiness or he just can't put words together to make it clear. Anyway, I am studying for this upcoming quiz and chapter exam and decided to take a different approach and change my strategy.
Does anyone have specific recommendations?
