Louisiana 1099-G forms (refund) - has yours arrived?

This. It is only relevant if you itemize in those tax years. If you took the standard deduction, as a vast majority of people do, the refund is not taxable.

LDR only sends out the forms if you itemized for 2019.
Of course like many things, they can't seem to get this right so some people never get one who should have, and some people who don't need one, get one.

I received a refund from the State in 2019; however, I have not received my 1099-G as of today.
When I looked back at my 2017 and 2018 records, both were post dated January 15/16 timeframe....
Seems like LA Department of Revenue doesn't have it together this year.

they struggle most years, but they are still dealing with setbacks from that state cyber attacks.

Thanks for the update - forgot that I did not itemize last year due to the tax law changes / increase in the standard deduction.

I feel like I have always gotten one. Even in years prior when the standard deduction was higher than itemizing.
