LNG Upside?

With Russia holding all the cards to keep Europe from freezing this winter, is there still any upside for US LNG carriers or are we already priced in?

As a holder of ET, much ado is about the Lake Charles LNG terminal scheduled to go online in 2026. I'm adding to TELL on the dips. IMHO, it has a great future before Russia.

Natural Gas demand isn't really going anywhere but the profits these companies are taking right now are extreme. However with the disaster that is Europe, it could last the next 2-3 years, especially in the winter time when Asia competes with Europe for loadings.
As Europe implodes over the next few months to a year, mainly this winter, they will realize their green energy / ESG BS is all that...BS. Although these upper echelons of Europe, German Greens and WEF are going to ride that pony into the ground over the next 2-3 years as civil unrest goes crazy.
They are still going to be buying excessively high-priced LNG because they have nothing else, unless they actually jump back on the nuclear start-up train like the UK and France are talking about.
Realistically though, any gas-based provider will be solid over the next 20-30 years. Anyone heavily invested in Utica, Haynesville, Permian that is not a major. Majors have no talent for shale plays and will ultimately drive themselves into the ground with their ESG garbage and petroleum divestment. Honestly, IMO CoP is one of the best regardless of prospect, one of the few companies that really knows what they are doing in shale plays.

Shell, who walked away from the deal a couple of years ago, is back on the project. It's close to being fully subscribed and FID will follow.

While our eco-blue-check idiots are waging war on CH4, Europe just declared natural gas to be a green fuel. Perhaps, Europe should have listened to Trump on that Russian dependency warning.
