I view this as a pure speculation play and have about 1% of my portfolio in this space. If it goes to $0, then that sucks but this won’t be something that causes much pain overall. If it explodes like I think it will then it offers enough upside to take a nice trip or payoff a chunk of a mortgage.

This is why I bought more shares. If they are the ONLY cannibus approved e-commerce site in Canada, this stock will jump 5x in a VERY short order.

Up 12% today...I got in just before this bounce. What is driving this price activity today?

Yeah, but the stock didn't bounce until well after that news.

Not everyone sits around waiting to read the stock news each morning.

ETA: Plus now the ETF may be purchasing in.

Limit order executed on MJ this AM so didn’t absorb all of the losses this morning. TLRY tanking back to where it was before the short squeeze. Now, it’s time to ride this out and see where it takes me.

Ya Im trying to figure out the play here. Not enough dip on MJ yet for me to purchase but I really want to get in on a marijuana etf. TLRY is tempting but I know its still way overvalued. I'm getting crushed on LVVV but that will bounce back eventually and I really would like to get more NXTTF when it dips again.

Crushed? it's down 0.001

I honestly don't see it dipping much more. I will continue to buy the max number of shares every few weeks Fidelity allows on this while it sits where it is.

ETA: Up 8% since buying into NXTTF a few weeks back.

I may put another good until canceled limit order on MJ that’s significantly off the market price today. With this kind of volatility, this is the most straightforward way to fill orders without monitoring it on a daily or hourly basis. These are long-term holds for me...big CPG and alcohol are notoriously risk averse and the early signs of even exploring this space before it is fully legalized is a great indicator.

Whenever full legalization happens (maybe 2-3 years down the road), this becomes a billion+ dollar sector overnight. If you don’t believe this eventually gets legalized, then I struggle to follow the logic of investing here.
