I haven't seen much beyond this press release, but this is good for KEMET as WPG Holdings is one of the largest semiconductor distributors. Depending on when it starts, this could help KEMET with the earnings later in the year--assuming they are expanding capacity.

This stock is so volatile, I been trading it around picking up a couple hundred dollars where I can. I bought back in at $18 just now for 250 shares.

Maybe not but up $1 down a $1.50 has helped me pick up about $300 or so in profits just buying and dumping this stock over two weeks. It’s not much but better than just riding it out. I’ll stay in now for a while.

You sweat it out over such small amounts. Not sure if that is good or bad as everyone has their own style.
I admit I gamble a lot on certain things so I don't sweat too much over a few hundred here and there. Hell, I bought $22K worth of SPX calls on the dip 30 minutes ago and will buy more if it dips more.

New marriage. Paying off debt, trying to figure out what our monthly expenses will be. Other responsibilities.
We are keeping a lot in cash reserves at the moment. I have about 5K thrown in just for me to play with.
My wife is still under the assumption that the stock market is gambling. She isn't business or financially inclined. So every $50 we up, I make sure to tell her.
$50 ain't shite but it makes her mind settle.

Someone explain a little more what exactly KEM does, why they are positioned to be good and what they do that puts them ahead of competitors in their field

They make flux capacitors for cars. They are the leading market holder but recently have maxed production. Since, they have made many strategic partnerships.
