Is the Wall Street Journal worth the money?

Depends on what you want from it. If you find the articles interesting, they're offering $12 for 12 weeks.
Many periodicals do something similar. The Economist does as well, it just caters to a different audience.
You will get information about various corporate moves that everyone in the business already knows perfectly well, don't expect any big secrets to be revealed. But if you like reading that sort of thing (and many do) then it's fine.

The catch if I remember correctly is it’s only mon-Friday so you miss the weekend stuff.

I like it but nothing super secret is in there. articles and wuality seem to be better than most news sites these days though

Absolutely.
I get the online and the paper. I don't always read the paper but every time I do I find things that I missed in the online paper.
It is the only subscription of any newspaper or magazine that I have.
