I’m interested in opening a HELOC and my first application used an 80% combined loan to value. Because of that 80%, it wasn’t worth it. Has anyone had any experience lately with an organization that provides closer to 90% combined loan to value?

What rates are you seeing? Any fixed rate deals?

I only applied to one bank to start. Not fixed and rate was 10.25% with the option to lock in for $ and reduced rate for different terms. $10k max at 10.25% just doesn’t work. I can go get a $10k personal loan at a fixed 9%.
