Isnt there a new Crypto ETF? I feel like that might be better than throwing everything at Bitcoin. I think Bitcoin is the safest, but it has the least growth potential relative to the lesser known coins. If that ETF has a few coins that boom you realize the gains.

Any solid but not sexy ETF’s anyone recommend. I’ve seen some of the vanguards but any non-Vanguard?

My portfolio is almost entirely Index ETF’s. Lost my shirt too many times trying to select single stocks. Decided I’ll take the Burton Malkiel approach.
50% VOO Vanguard S&P Index.
30% VT Vanguard World Stock Index
My rationale, what you are really getting with this mix is 55% S&P, 10% Small/Mid Cap and the rest in foreign markets. To me; with just two ETF’s you get strong diversification and it makes rebalancing the portfolio very easy.
Plus you get Vanguards very low fee structure and solid quarterly dividends.
My remaining 20% is currently in the MORT REIT ETF and Short Term Corporate Bonds.
It goes without saying; I’m investing on a long horizon. Buy and hold here.

I like this idea. Let him invest in companies he likes. Video games? activision sony microsoft etc
Social media? fb twtr etc
Maybe check it every year and re-evaluate
