On my rental property. No mortgage on the home and its 30+ years old. Trying to save a few bucks on my insurance that went up a good bit. I have no personal property inside the dwelling. According to my Dec page, I have coverage for Dwelling limits and Personal Property limits. Dwelling is for replacemnet cost of the structure itself. If I have no property inside, why do I need the Personal property coverage? Its around 5K. Maybe covers my hot water heater and AC unit?

There might be a minimum personal property amount required. $5,000 may be the minimum.

Freestanding stove, fridge... You aren't going to save much with that going to zero...
