How to determine the cost to sell your mutual fund investments?

Naive question, but here goes: Where do you look to see what it will cost when you sell your mutual fund interests (whether contained in qualified accounts or otherwise). Not asking about broker fees; rather, asking about the costs imposed by the fund.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Depends on what share class it is and how long you’ve held it. But your answer would be in the prospectus.

There should not be any cost. The closing price at the end of the day you put in the sell order will be used. Closing price times your number of shares, that dollar amount will be your proceeds. If you have this in a brokerage account, that dollar amount will show up in your “Sweep” cash account.

I just converted one to cash. Didn’t cost me anything.

Unless you bought into back loaded mutual funds (in which case, fire your broker), there shouldn’t be any cost to sell A shares.
Now, if you bought C shares, you might have a contingent deferred sales charge if you sell within 12 months of purchase.
