Yes! I was watching this happen while maniacally rubbing my hands together like Montgomery Burns... I don’t have a huge position, but I’m in at $5.50

I bought 900 shares last week. I’d like to get another 1000-1100 but need the price to come back down some

Holding 3250 shares. This is fun. Who needs Vegas. Hands? Diamond.

I've got some money sitting around, but I want the price to drop to a certain amount first (yes, I realize if it "takes" off, who cares about the $10-$11 current share price), but it is still a gamble and don't want to drop another $10k-$15k at the current price.

So that the word on the streets, eh?

Well, I have 30 shares of this one at $8.05 and I’ve said if it hit $20 I’m selling. I’m gonna take my $250 and run.

Can y’all explain why AMC hasn’t skyrocketed to the 100s yet like GME?

Not an expert, but this is the mindset of many on AMC. Similar to VW situation awhile back

Why? What price do you see this going to? It will come down after the squeeze, no doubt.

There is a big money war going on behind the scenes. Some hedges need it below $10, or they lose their arse. Other institutions have call above $10, and will keep buying to support the price. That huge buy at the bell a few weeks ago to keep the price above $8 is a prime example.

Easy. The squeeze hasn't happened yet. If shareholders hold, it is inevitable. There is a finite amount of the stock. Utilization is at 100%. Shorts who haven't covered, are paying 14% interest RIGHT NOW on that debt. Just that alone, makes it inevitable. Meanwhile, the hedges that are upside down on this, are doing everything they can to get the price down. Massive short-ladder attacks, all kinds of psychological games, etc. Now throw in the new SEC rules, their rope just got massively shortened.

Just saw your post after I posted mine. That's it, in a nutshell. The stars are starting to align. At this point, the only thing unknown, is just how high will it go. I know it sounds rediculous, but the math suggests this could easily hit $500. Hell, Fidelity has predictions on it hitting $900. They had to revise it up from $600 recently.

so, what you're saying is this:

Everything I've posted, is indicators as to which way this may go. Earnings will be reported today, after the bell. They won't be good. Internet chatter about that is just people/bots trying to get the price down. Anyone with two brain cells knows, earnings will be shite for any company that hasn't been open, open only allowed 50% capacity, and hardly any inventory to sell (movies). The thing about purchasing a stock is, you don't make the decision to buy based on the past. It's entirely based on what you think it will do in the future. Remember, Amazon didn't make a profit for a very long time. "Experts" openly questioned if it was over-valued at the time. Fast forward to today. Bezos keeps swapping places with Musk as the world's richest man.

Mine too! I have to remember to remove my sell order for $100 when this thing starts moving rapidly. I don't know which would be worse. Losing my entire investment, or selling cheap and missing out on making MILLIONS!

It's like the old guys who tell you they could've bought hundreds of acres of land BEFORE a dam was built, for next to nothing. Now that same land is worth a fortune. I hear that crap all the time from old guys around Smith Lake in North Central Alabama.
