Well if the gracious government allows us to live our lives again I think people will flock to movies in the short run which will drive the price up so if your average is under 14 just hold and either the shorts get fricked at the end of the week and you make a bunch of money, or they don’t and you can hold a stock until it rebounded after Covid.

As everyone has said, this is a pure gamble. Don’t put up more than you’re willing to lose and understand that it may pop and it may not but there’s a better chance of popping if we all buy and hold. Don’t get skittish and bail.

I understand that. AMC is just not a compelling investment case for me personally. I bought purely to trade for the very very short term with an average now of 13.78 between last week and today. AMC is more of the chick I wanna bang and experiment on and less of the one I want to help raise my kids. They both have a place you just need to know which case you're making or the consequences can be huge.

It also helps to know when to pull out so the former doesn't become the latter!!

Pretty strong bounce just now from 13.7 back to 14.10. that should be a relief to those holding

I’m buying dips below 13.50 the rest of the week. I like to party.

As soon at my cash settles from my last to stock sells on Fidelity I'm buying between $6-7K more as long as it dips below my $15.99 price

means that (likely) institutional buyer expects the stock price to be north of $20 on February 12.

Feb 12?!?! I feel like I'm waiting on the kraken, it keeps getting pushed further out.

Take this as an assumption this stock will continue to pop past the 12th not that it's going to take until the 12th to pop. It means the longer you buy and hold the higher the stock price will go!

Not being a smart arse bc I don't know what you do or don't know, but options expire each week and this was a "bet" on next week's expiration. Last I looked there were 3000 call contracts opened today for 17.5 that expire this week. I didn't look much past 17.5 this morning.
