I'm thinking of buying a $20 call for next July and collecting a weekly premium selling calls to the apes. Is this a terrible idea?

Right now that's gonna be an expensive call option. And with where everyone expects the price to be a year from now, it'll likely be worthless.

So.... Short it? Long term puts would surely print.
We could make a little wager? You buy puts or shorts long term, I will hold my shares till next year May time frame? You choose, and winner gets a monetary award along with bragging rights.

I think my money will do much better for me elsewhere (like SLI), but I'm totally down to do a friendly wager. If this thing is above $20 on May 15, I'd happily send you $50. If it's below $20 you send me $50.

I want in on that action although full disclosure Ill be buying AMC stock at 18 for a swing.

This stock will be in single digits by May. Three months ago all the money was concentrated on GME. As people took some gains they started spreading their gambles. When the losses start to be realized, there’s no reserve money to take its place. You can already see it in the discussions. On the way up all the hold the lines pleas were supported with people claiming to buy significant numbers of shares, or were using margin. While, none of the theater has changed, now you see a lot of people expressing their solidarity by purchasing puny amounts like 5 or 10 shares.

Pretty one sided and since you had argued with parrot so long, I would have assumed you had a bit more conviction. But, it was my proposal and it sounds fun. Let’s see how big we can get the pot. Let’s make it a mb thing

Apparently AMC is trying to set up BTC payments. They’re also willing to work with GME.
They’re pulling out all the stops before bankruptcy. Havent heard about AMC NFTs yet though.

Still burning massive cash, 344M this quarter even with 95% of the theaters open.
