Holding until the stock hit a certain price is the stupidest thing I ever heard of. Better benchmarks of scaling out are 10%, 20%, and so on.

I sold out this week at 42.50 for my 100 shares and was in at $20. The steady decline over the last few weeks made me decide to bail. I may regret it if it shoots back up, but at least I didn't lose anything and I made a little over 100%. I don't trade stocks, this is only the 2nd single stock I bought on my own (outside my portfolio with an advisor) so it evened me up on the wash I got with NHMD pancakes in a can

Slack even with that 30% decline I'm still up 180.5% over all on AMC. And I intially sold enough shares to get my original investment plus about $12K in profit. So while I appreciate you pointing that out I'm still sitting very well with AMC. And I do not plan on bag holding as others swear they will do. I have a jump off plan and it will not all be at once.

That's probably my biggest regret. I've been looking at this thread every now and then when it was in the single digits thinking I should throw some $ at it. Forgot about it for a bit till a friend asked me about it and it was already up to 19-20 that day. If I got in at the single digits id hold a lot longer.

This proves the sentiment changed and the game is over. A month ago it was unacceptable to publicly discuss selling shares…let alone offer approval for any others that do.
I’m convinced anyone still declaring diamond hands or expressing enthusiasm about the opportunity to buy the dip are either trolls or bots.

Also, why is anAI based fund loading up along with vanguard and blackrock on shares of AMC. Why in the world would they do that? Plus. Have you looked at the maths and share count?
If shorts have to cover, how is holding till they do a bad play?

Funny. Game over hahaha good stuff. I think we are still waiting on a massive dip to slingshot. My opinion. Not financial advice
