No way it dips into the 30s tomorrow. Greygoose is much more likely to be right about AMC getting back to the 60s than you are about the 30s. All you have to do is look at all the buzz surrounding AMC and all the options closing in the money and you can understand that where there is smoke there is usually fire..

EDIT: This is just the very beginning. Gamma squeeze is next when it closes above $40 this coming Friday. Then the inevitable short squeeze will be on the horizon.

It's just not something that I believe will happen (not rooting against anyone). I am not swing trading that amount anyway. I am just doing 50 or so shares at a time.

, greygoose doesn’t know what it means. The proposed rule change impacts the way the NSCC calculates the liquidity requirements based on member activity. It changes a few definitions and moves to a daily minimum calculation rather than the monthly one.
It’s been spun as some sort of godsend for retail investors in AMC and GME - you should read some of the comments that have been submitted the commission
- but like many things on this topic, it’s wholly misleading. The proposed rule change would actually significantly lower the frequency of “margin calls” from the NSCC. They would have been more infrequent if this rule was in place in every year since 2016, according to the pro-forma study in the rule itself.
