Why not? Is there an amount of money in your account that defines how you buy a tv, car, or house? Anyone who is buying for themselves, isn't a decision maker at the company they want to buy stock in, or representing clients funds, is retail. The only time that changes, is if you have enough funds and want to purchase 5% or more of the outstanding shares.

You’re right, but then the definition ruins any sort of potential insight for comparing retail and institution for these meme stocks. The true intrigue lies estimating how many ordinary people are required to combine resources to overpower an institution. There’s 260k AMC stocktwits followers, and I’d bet none can remember the last 5 times they purchased anything related to AMC.

It’s only been a couple of weeks since people started pushing the get rich narrative. When this thing started it was simply about screwing a hedge fund.

I think that core group would choose losing their investment and bankrupting Melvin or citadel over sharing a profit with them.

I took some profit and covered my original investment. With all the nonsense I wanted to make sure I could at least walk away with a nice profit.

Going to let the rest ride and see what happens.

Based on what I sold, even if I let it get back down to $10 before I sell the rest, I would’ve made 100% on my original investment.

So you made about $2300 profit in the last few months? Ok nice. I'm in for much more and i'm currently looking at $64.7K in current gains for a total of $132.4K. I'll hold, as I think it has more room to run, but hey that is me.

You’ve got balls and earned my respect.

When the dust settles it will be interesting to see the fallout. There are people that liquidated all investments to go all in, others that used CC cash advances to get on the ride it to the moon. If this goes bust, there’s gonna be a LOT of people living with mom indefinitely....who had the chance to cash out and pay off their student loans or put a down payment on a house.

To be honest i'm retired military and I also have an investment account with Ameriprise. I recently started a personal investing account through Fidelity last summer at the height of the pandemic. I figured instead of letting my money sit in a bank account making little to no interest why not invest some of it. And that is exactly what I did and cannot be happier of the outcome.

Stocks like NVDA, FSLY, TSLA, and BNGO have made me nice profits just to name a few. And AMC is doing just that again. So with all that said, I'm not playing with money I'm not willing to lose, I have other avenues of money and income to ensure I'm not in a bind if this goes south, and I recommend all have a good plan in place in case it does.

At 27 over 212k options expire in the money. I will be extremely tempted to buy heavy last 60 seconds if holds

Seems like it’s holding steady where it is. Good signs no?

After that huge attack on the stock earlier today I think anything in the green today is a good sign. But it does seem to keep floating between 26.95 and 27.40 this afternoon.

If you trust this BAM method guy, he predicted spike into $32 this morning, followed by a dip back to $20s a bunch of vibration there for the next week(?) and then a really high target cap.

That he’s been pretty solid so far has me hoping even if not totally believing.

His latest update, and I think he was saying a bit of a jump In that June 8-9 range as the next solid string spot (not in this video):

This is expected and part of the psychological rollercoaster you have to endure. Stop following and close your shite out until after 06/02 if you cant handle it. This is David vs Goliath type battle. This enemy has every single weapon to attack us with. The apes just need to weather these attacks.

The numbers dont lie. We will be sitting on generational wealth.

Today has been a bit of a punch in the dick but the reality is if you had told me Monday morning when the price was 12.58 or so that we’d end the week at 25+ I would have been thrilled.

Great week.
