I think triple digits is a real challenge but not totally impossible.
Triple digits would take it to one of the top 200 public companies in the US, for reference.
While not impossible, seems difficult to find the money to get it there. Over $15B will have changed hands in the stock today, for example.
If the volume was much lower the last couple days I could see it though.
ETA- today’s total dollars traded is going to be very similar, if not higher, to the January 27th peak that we saw.

Did you see it hitting $27 this week though?
Let me be clear, this isn't a "gotcha" question or trying to call you out at all. I'm just saying this stock is clearly doing some crazy stuff so maybe conventional wisdom doesn't fully apply.

However, we’re talking about the law of large numbers here. This volume is insane. There are very clearly a lot of sellers - one for every buyer, obviously.
ETA - the counterpoint to that is that AMC clearly overtook GME for the WSB community. There is only so much money to go around, so concentrating it helps the cause.

This is always the hard part. You have netted 135% this week... when do you take profits.
Rather be a bit early, then a few minutes too late on these guys.

I’m a fan of letting my horses run, to some extent, but I typically shave in 25% or so chunks on typical stocks.
Never been a fan of the whole “house money” logic - selling your original cost and letting everything else ride or die. That’s a good way to watch your profits dry up, particularly on a stock that no one seems to think is truly worth these prices in the longer run.

For better or worse, we’ll probably see AMC gap up or down on a daily basis for a while now.

This up and down price is fun to watch

Today’s move is clearly due to the demand for shares exceeding the supply of shares and the price rising to find equilibrium.
What drives that demand could be any number of things, and the primary determinant could very well be FOMO, YOLO or whatever.
But the expression “there’s always a seller for every buyer” does not address the underlying cause of the move: Demand > Supply

I’m discussing, to the best of my ability, what to do and when the ride stops.
Ok, so how do you know when the ride stops?? Legit question, because I know what I am looking for and what my play will be... but I am curious how you would get off the train.
An extra 1.5M shares were borrowed today and shorted. Most likely this is the large dump of shares you were referring too, they wisely used it to slow down the run. And Short Interest hasn't decreased so if anybody is closing a position those shares are being borrowed right back to short again...

May be out of the loop here for a couple months but how does this compare to GME? There is no way GameStop based on their financials is a top 200 company. It’s definitely an anomaly.

So the narrative is out there that we are going to be experiencing a pseudo squeeze. It may run to 50 or 100 and maybe 1000 then drop massively. Its to scare the shite out of you and also grab the shares from the holders who set stop losses.
June 2nd is a big deal that could finally reveal how many synthetic shares exist on the market. This will show how fricking corrupt it all is. Also rumor the SEC and AMC have been working together to build a case against the HFs and shitadel. Who knows? Narrative is out there though about that.
I personally we are going to have the MOASS in the future. I know i am probably the only one on here who talks about it and I will take the shite that comes with that declaration. Conventional wisdom does not apply to this anymore. I have done the DD on the math and is it possible but its "predicated" on the apes holding until the price reaches 100K.

Calm down. He's been bearish on the stock but overall just giving his opinion on the matter and not an outright dick.
