So if you have 100 Houses they are raising 300k ! How much money do they need ? How many houses are in your HOA? They are just blowing money and want everyone else to pay for their horrible decisions.

Reason 1000 i absolutely refuse to live in an HOA neighborhood. This is something i refuse to budge on.

our HOA has a percentage cap (like 10% per year over 2 years) that they are allowed to raise the HOA.
HOA's are worthless. They let this guy dump white rocks in his flowerbeds and they do ZERO.

Lol. Its about not paying a debt you LEGALLY owe. You can argue the reason for the debt is dumb as hell and that's fine but dude wasn't sued simply because he has plants.
