I exited my long positions in futures today. I'm looking for a pullback in the 40 - 80 dollar range and a blowoff top to the 1700 - 2000 dollar range by the end of June. So, I'm out, and will be looking to re-enter on a pullback.

I re-entered my gold positions today at 1513. Anything below 1495 in gold or 38 in Silver I'll exit.

Isn't that where it was today?

Both of those metals went near or below those prices this morning (gold = $1,496.20, silver = $37.33), although both have recovered a little. Silver is just 20 cents above $38 now.

Are you out?

Not yet...I typoed on yesterdays post. Meant $37 on silver. And when I say below, I mean a daily close below.

Okay. Since my post above silver has now dropped to $37.76.

Think what you will. But notice the first post in this thread...I nailed the gold bottom in late January. Notice the post on Monday, I also nailed the gold top.

It's very simple, in trading you are taking risks. If you manage your risks properly, you don't have to be correct every time. Might I be wrong this time? Absolutely, it happens.

With the current volatility in Silver, a $0.40 swing is nothing.

Interesting fact on silver, in the last 6-7 trading days the COMEX exchange has essentially doubled the margin requirements to hold a silver contract. A lot of people felt some major pain if they were a Johnny come lately in Silver.

You just admitted to your mistake in a previous post. No reason to defend anything at this point.

with places online such as APMEX and such, if I buy an ounce bar of gold, do they mail me that actual ounce bar of gold? I under stand the prices but not the way it is mailed or if it is just paper. New to this.

pretty much why i think this is a huge scam. I think all these companies are going to go bankrupt that sell paper gold if anyone ever audits their reserves. Maybe im just ignorant.

APMEX deals in physical and mails it to you. I have never heard one complaint about them, other than the recent news that they are out of silver eagles until later in the month.

Goldmoney and bullionvault allegedly hold your metals overseas in vaults. I think they have methods to deliver the physical metal, but for the most part, you're holding paper and paying transaction fees. That said, goldmoney has been excellent to deal with and it's easy to cash out.

I'll let the gurus tell you about ETFs.

you get physical PM's. I love apmex. I wouldn't go in sooner than 33-34 and 1400-1425 fwiw.

I took a small short position in gold today...outlet will be above 1540 on the August contract.

In the next 2 months I see us getting in the 1350 to 1400 range in gold before the uptrend resumes.
