Get rich scam radio commercials

From gold investing, to Grant Caldone’s real estate investing book, to indexed annuities with “guaranteed” returns….I’m floored how many “get rich” schemes are aggressively advertised.
Obviously, they work because they are paying $$ to advertise. If I were the radio station, I get you need $$ to pay the light bill, but I’d be concerned about reputation risk if someone loses $$ in one of these.

It seems like half of American women get duped into MLM scams. Hell, half of the OT is probably married to those types of women. I'm hardly surprised sadly.

The case with the crypto that was being pushed by Shaq and other celebs, where they are now being sued, is an interesting case.

Grant Caldone
Isn't this guy from LA, is there any truth to any of his claims?
On a different note, a few years ago I read a book about gambling called "Getting the Best of it" by professional gambler, David Sklansky.
He had a great quote that I can't remember off-hand but basically it was never trust anyone giving or selling tips. He talked about how his go to Poker game is Lowball, and he has written barely anything about it (he's written quite a few books), because he doesn't want to give away his strategy/edge.

it is grant cardone not CALDONE. and no i have never used his course but i have used two others and they were legit.
your post proves to me you are ignorant about RE and other opportunities.
There is loads of LEGIT good info out there in CERTAIN RE courses, trading courses, etc. it may not all be applicable to you but that does not mean it is a SCAM. now is there some trash courses out there? sure. but having some trash does not mean everything out there is a scam. this shows me you have not even researched or sifted through anything out there and tried it.
. anyone can lose money in anything basically. does not mean it is fake. this is why you educate yourself on investing.
go back to trolling the poliboard

again, like above this is just dumb. is tony stoffo stupid for selling books on how to beat your bookie? i use his systems and they work.
you people thinking anything taught does not work because if it did it would only BE A SUPER TOP SECRET are laughable.

to indexed annuities with “guaranteed” returns…
Just curious. Who or company is advertising Index Annuities as a get rich quick scheme?

Not sure if you are serious or that’s just a bait to start an argument on why they’re not all scams… But, in my book, they are all scams that cost the owner thousands and thousands of dollars of unnecessary fees.
I put them in the same category as people who buy timeshares.
Unfortunately, they prey on the below average intelligence person who it is either not able to grasp the concept, or can be convinced otherwise through an aggressive sales tactic. Like a timeshare.

So you made it up. There are no ads that claim indexed annuities are get rich quick schemes.

I see what he's saying, basically if you're selling mamaw market like returns with no downside, yes. To a really conservative or scared person, that is a get rich quick scheme.
I've seen it before and while I lost touch with the lady I'd bet $1,000 on her regreting it.
Those commercials are specificly looking for people like this lady and she thinks she's about to get 12% a year. With no risk. That's preying.

You linked to article about a shady insurance agent. Not an ad. Link to an ad. I want to know who these companies are that are advertising Index annuities as get rich quick schemes.
Also can you educate me on what are the different type of index annuities that are out there and how they work? I would really appreciate it.
Where do you get your financial advice from because you seem very knowledgable.

Turn up your radio dial. They’re out there.
You obviously are in the industry and have a financial interest to try and fight off the demonization of the product. Not gonna dignify your desperation by engaging you. You go ahead and keep selling your soul by screwing folks over. They’ll be a special place in hell for you right next to the reverse mortgage salesman.
And yes, I’m confident that I’ve forgotten more than you know.

I’m not going to get into a pissing contest. But, let’s just say I’d be considered an expert in any forum in all of the above.
But, I’m sure I pale in comparison to you.
