quote:Not sure there - I did the test payments for everything except my mortgage. I just did that one in full the first time and assumed that if it didn't apply it correctly, I could call the mortgage company and have them change the payment to cover my next month's due. For my car note and credit cards, the test payment just reduced the overall amount that was due as one would expect. Mortgage may be different with test payments.
I just did a test by paying $.1 bill through PayPal with the card going towards my mortgage. The transaction went through but it says in my mortgage statement that the payment was put down on my principal. How do I apply the money to the monthly note through Paypal?

Also, now that yall are starting to pay your bills with the card, the best way to maximize btc rewards is to have a lot of extra spins. Various ways to get extra spins:
1 per day for being the Spin+ card holder (the $150 fee card)
1 per day for having a balance over $1,000 on the card
3 max per day by playing the game in the app
3 every Friday for being a Spin+ card holder
1 extra spin for a purchase over $250
Extra spins expire after 7 days and you can see when they are expiring in the app.
A new wheel is dropping later today and they usually give a couple spins to everyone when that happens

I funded my Fold card last Friday and it's still not showing up on the Fold card. How long does it generally take?
BTW... my son paid his mortgage this morning using his Fold card and his connected PayPal account and got back $73 (in BTC).

Has the Fold/Paypal Billpay link broken for anyone else? I'm seeing some reports that it has, and a buddy of mine told me he can't get it to work.
I've got a couple of bills to pay Wednesday and just curious if it's even worth trying to pay through Paypal billpay using funds from Fold Card.

Did t go Du process through SVB or SBNY?

i havent done anything as my bills are due until the 15th. I'm just seeing it all over reddit and twitter. It started a week or two weeks ago, allegedly.
I doubt it has anything at all to due with SVB or SBNY.

quote:Yes, Payball bill pay with Fold is not working for anyone right now. Fold is saying it is a paypal issue, Paypal saying it is a Fold issue

I have a feeling this cheat code/loophole has been closed.

My issue started on Friday. Still happening as of this morning. I cannot make any payments to cc's or mortgage. I was able to make a payment to Entergy using paypal/fold, however. So it obviously has to do with the merchant codes.

I'm really hoping it hasn't. I've earned about 8 million sats (~$1,900) in rewards by paying off my mortgage, car note, and CCs via Fold since starting this thread last year

I hope not either, just feels that way. I haven't made quite that much but I've made a decent amount of free money, and it would be a shame for it to end.

I had an issue about a week or two ago laying my American Express bill.
But it eventually went through.
If this loophole is closed I’ll be done with fold. But I don’t see any reason why it would be closed.
You can do bill pay through PayPal with any bank or debit card.

Yeah. I’ve gotten one 3% spin and I’ve been on it for a few months. Most are 1.5%. I stop spinning when I hit a 2% to 1.5%.
It’s worth having once you factor in the monthly subscription rate.
But it’s only worth having when I pay everything with my American Express and then pay my Amex off with fold. I also pay off one debt payment with it which is nice. But that’s it.
Without being able to pay my credit off with fold PayPal it’s not quite worth it. We shall see.

Any updates on this? This really sucks.
EDIT:
So my American Express Pltinum bill on PayPal is a different AmEx label. My Delta AmEx credit card worked last month.
So I changed my Platinum to the "American Express – Personal Cards - Financial Services Payment" the same as my Delta Card and it is no longer just "American Express".... and the payment is now processing and appearing on my AmEx bill as in process and got the green check and everything and it usually takes a few hours for it to pop up on my Fold as a charge. But it seems to be working. Will update.

Interesting, all of my Paypal payments have always shown up immediately in Fold in the past when everything was properly working.
Credit cards (both Chase and Amex), as well as mortgage, car note, etc.

I'm going to look into the PayPal debit card. That's 1% cash back with minimal effort to move money around if it works.
