Fidelity's timing is as impeccable as if February 7, 1942 Fidelity suggests Pearl Harbor watch the sky
(December 7, 1941 bombing).
Presume this is forward-looking interest rate, recession, etc. wealth protection. Anyone attend such a seminar? Curious what "Tried and True" Methods and what they are selling here.

Seminars are free. May as well check it out.
I suspect it's the basics, but sometimes it is good to go back to basics.

Exactly. Being that it’s being offered by Fidelity, I seriously doubt that it’s some sort of “timeshare” type seminar. Several firms are offering advisory services that are focused on talking nervous or emotionally driven clients off the ledge.

This is all about getting people to chill out and not pull their funds from Fidelity.

These are good teaching tools for teens and young adults, too. You can attend with those people and it help explain things pretty well. Sometimes we forget what it is like to be a new investor and this helps.
