Estimated taxes

Anyone else have to frick with this? I'm not even self employed but turbotax is recommending it.

What's the best way to go about this? Pay 100%(or 110% if you're in that bracket?) of what you ended up owing at the end of this year for next year?

I'm almost leaning towards just potentially paying the penalty (5% Max)....

Hate our tax system..

Get with HR and adjust your W-4 to have more taxes withheld.

It just means you owed over $1000 after your withholdings

The IRS has a W-4 calculator

This is a pretty good tax calculator I've found.

correct
just skip over it, pay your taxes, and do something about your withholding
if it was a one time event that escalated your tax burden, then don’t do anything or figure out a way to defer or deduct some of that taxable income
